                       Enlighten. Educate. Entertain.

WrightStage Productions was created in 2008 when it debuted at the Hyde Collection in Glens Falls, New York with its premiere production of Lee Blessing's A Walk in the Woods. It starred local actors Nicholas Baroudi and John Kearney whom director/producer Neil Akins had become acquaited with when he directed A Few Good Men  for the Glens Falls Community Theatre in 2006. Tickets for the premiere were free and the production was enthusiastically received by the nearly full 120 seat house . The production was reprised in 2009 at The Charles R. Wood Theater.

We were excited to play in this great venue and had prepared great lighting effects to enhance the evening. Unfortunately, the lighting system malfunctioned, and we had to play under house and work lights only. One reviewer confided in me after the show that she thought: "Boy, if this is bad, it's going to be really bad!" It wasn't! Script and performers ruled the night! (The photos in the link to the right are from a dress rehearsal at the 2009 Wood date.)
